This trek offers the best of the mountains and villages of the Khumbu- a blend of marvellous mountain panoramas and the fascinating culture of the Sherpa People. We will visit Sherpa villages and Buddhist Monasteries of Tengboche and enjoy superb mountain views throughout. We have qualified Sherpa guides throughout the trek who are well experienced from a reputable tour company in Nepal

Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu.

Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 2 Kathmandu City and tour
Day 3. Katmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2600m):
Morning transfer to airport for the flight to Lukla. Flying time 40 minutes. At Lukla your trek crew will be waiting to greet you. Equipment is sorted out, loads are allocated and lunch will be served at Lukla. After lunch walk through Lukla, Keyngma, Choplung villages, forest then pass Ghat village. Overnight in Phakding.
Day 4. Phakding - Namche Bazar (3440m):
After breakfast, we follow bank of the Dudh Koshi River, walk through forests and the villages of Benkar, Chomowa and Mondzo. We enter Sagarmatha National Park, then crossing suspension bridge, pass Jorsalle village and walk alongside of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi confluence. A steep ascend brings us to the principal Sherpa village of Namche Bazar. Stay overnight in a lodge
Day 5. Free day in Namche:
Time to explore the village and also to visit the museum housed in the
National Park Head Quarters. There is a very interesting display on Sherpa
traditional life and the flora, fauna of the park. For the more energetic, there is
also time to visit the Everest View Hotel with its views of the Everest, Ama
Dablam and other peaks of the area.
Day 6. Namche-Dole (4040m):
Follow the Tengboche trail till Syangnasa then taking the Gokyo trail to the
crest of the ridge (13,097ft). Descend steeply towards Dudh Koshi. Across the
River is Phortse (3840m). Taking the left-hand path wherever the trail forks,
We head north through Rhododendron forests which give way to Junipers and
Large Conifers.
Day 7. Nah-Phortse (3840m):
Continue our descent of the valley through summer pastures and the settlement of Konar to Phorste.
Day 8. Phortse-Tengboche (3867m):
The trail we follow now offers fine views of Kangtega, Thamserku and Ama Dablam, as we make our way to the attractive village of Pangboche. Its monastery is the oldest in the Khumbu region. After lunch we descend past some marvellously carved Mani stones to the Imja Khola. Cross the wooden bridge and ascend through the few houses of Milinggo and past the Nunnery at Deboche through thick rhododendron forest to Tengboche, the biggest monastery of the area.
Day 9.Tengboche-Mondzo:
A steep descend through rhododendron and pine forest to Phunki Tenga, cross the river and a steep ascend brings us to Tashinga. Himalayan Thar (wild blue sheep) can be seen on the way to Namche. We pass Namche and descend to Mondzo.
Day 10, 11. Mondzo-Lukla:
We follow the Dudh Koshi downstream until after Ghat, we our last ascend to Lukla.
Day 12, 13. Fly back to Katmandu, transfer to hotel and rest
Day 14. Transfer to Airport for International Departure.
We have allowed for a day at the start and the end to make your own flight arrangements via Delhi.

- The quoted prices for Hotels*** is on Twin Sharing basis with Breakfast
- During the Trekking period, Accommodation, meals are inclusive in the prices

Transformation process with Shira Bassi
Throughout the trek there will be opportunities for self growth and to have peak moments of transformation. Shira Bassi is a fully certified coach and leadership developer and uses her skills to harness the lessons from nature for personal development to meet the respective individual’s needs. Shira is one of 70 certified PCC coaches from the International Coaches Federation (ICF). Shira was a board director at the ICF in 2007 and took coach training to India as the director of Noble Manhattan. Shira is a leadership developer having trained with Co-active Training Institute (CTI) in the US. Shira’s previous background is a change management consultant, from Pricewaterhousecoopers and MBA from Nottingham University and has hands on experience of what’s required from leadership and managing people and life. She is also a mother of 2 extraordinary children. Shira is on the steering committee for ‘spirit in coaching’ in the UK and follows her own daily spiritual practice. Through her company Nurture life ltd Shira’s commitment is to run retreats and treks for personal transformation. She has just written her book ‘To Love!’ and is looking to publish this year. The transformation process is about the practice of operating from the heart rather than the ego as a leader in your own life. Transformation process
- A pre and post meeting with the individual to identify where they are now and where they occur after the process.
- Regular daily reviews in the course of the program to look at key individual areas arising for each person in the morning.
- Regular end of day debrief as a group and sharing of experiences of the journey and key area they are working with.
- Each person will be coached and have specific areas to focus on based on what they want from the transformation via trek.
